What Is Blue Light and How Do Blue Light Blocking Glasses Work?
A portion of light emitted by the sun falls in the blue spectrum, but almost all modern digital devices and LED lights also emit blue light. Unlike part of the UV radiation spectrum, blue light penetrates the eyes, and excessive exposure can cause eye strain. Blue light also affects the body’s circadian rhythms and your ability to produce melatonin, which means that blue light can also affect your sleep.
