Standard lenses are typically manufactured by taking into account 1 to 5 parameters. Standard lens designs often compromise good optics in order to be flat and thin enough. The result is clarity through the centre of the lens, but blurred vision through the sides.
ZEISS ClearView Lenses are manufactured using state-of-the-art freeform technology and optimization of up to 700 parameters for perfect central and peripheral vision.

With a three times larger field of vision, these lenses are 16% thinner and 49% flatter than standard lenses. Like all ZEISS lenses, they provide full UV protection up to 400 nm.
Also made for high prescription values, very light and without the effect of increasing or decreasing the eye (the so-called fisheye effect). Thin lenses provide a more aesthetically pleasing look, while flat lenses provide better optical quality. They also help reduce the overall weight of the glasses, making them more comfortable to wear. With thinner, flatter lenses, you can enjoy improved vision and a stylish look.
