Precise Analysis for Better Vision, Day and Night
iProfiler Plus
A hundredth is a much more precise measurement than a quarter. Wouldn’t you agree?
Glasses at the ZEISS VISION CENTER can be crafted with precision down to hundredths of a dioptre. Unlike the less precise increments of 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 dioptres, our spectacle lenses can be manufactured with dioptres of 0.18, 0.23, 0.51...
Such high precision, which guarantees the highest quality vision achievable by the human eye, is achieved with the unique device, ZEISS i.Profiler® Plus. It is a 4-in-1 device that, in one measurement, determines optical aberrations of the eye, corneal topography (individual like a fingerprint), objective refraction, and keratometry.
By measuring over 1,500 points on the cornea of the human eye, we obtain such a precise map of each eye that it is possible to correct even the smallest errors. Such correction, along with high visual acuity, significantly improves the quality of night vision, colour perception and overall contrast.
The ZEISS iProfiler® Plus also enables the creation of fully personalized eyeglass lenses that will be optimized according to your pupil size, providing smoother vision and even better quality in nighttime conditions.
An addition to the ZEISS lens optimized for your pupil size, SmartLife PRO, is available exclusively in Croatia at the ZEISS VISION CENTRE in Zagreb, Gundulićeva 8.
Visufit 1000
Did you know that your accurately determined eyeglass prescription is not a guarantee of clear vision?
One of the most important steps and the most common mistake when making glasses is the precise positioning of the eyeglass lenses in relation to the individual position of the pupil of each person's eye. An error of just 2 mm can result in up to a 40% decrease in visual performance.
At the ZEISS VISION CENTRE, precision is at the heart of everything we do. Using the advanced Visufit 1000 – one of the most accurate instruments on the market – we employ its 9 synchronised cameras to create an exact 3D map of your face, head shape, and the perfect frame position. With a remarkable accuracy of 0.1 mm, the possibility of error in crafting your glasses is virtually eliminated, guaranteeing unmatched precision and ensuring your complete satisfaction.
The precision is evident in the fact that during each analysis, the measurement data is processed using 45 million points and laser accuracy.
By creating a 3D avatar, the possibilities for individual adjustment and projection of finished glasses are virtually limitless. You have the possibility to virtually try on frames, and see the colours and anti-reflective layers until you find what perfectly fits you.
Visuplan 500
One of the leading eye health problems is increased intraocular pressure. It is independent of systemic pressure, mostly unfelt and without pronounced symptoms, but over time it can cause damage and deterioration of the optic nerve, leading to irreversible vision loss. Damage to the optic nerve is called glaucoma, and after cataracts, it is the leading cause of blindness worldwide.
At the ZEISS VISION CENTRE, during your vision analysis, we will measure your intraocular pressure using the Visuplan 500 device. The measurement is taken without contact with the cornea, lasts less than a minute, and is completely painless.
Biomicroscope SL 220
During the ZEISS vision analysis, we will also perform a visual examination of the front segment of the eye, assess the eye structures, and determine the position of the contact lenses in the eye.
For this step, we use the ZEISS SL 220 biomicroscope, the latest generation of biomicroscope, an indispensable instrument for ophthalmologists and optometrists.
Providing proven quality for reliable everyday work, combining superior optics with superior mechanical performance and versatility. Excellent ergonomics and easy handling have made this instrument a mainstay in optical practices around the world.
As in all ZEISS instruments, the priority is optical quality and high image resolution and contrast. With a magnification of 40x, rest assured that a precise analysis of the structures of your eye will be performed.
Visuphor 500
Assessing the performance of your vision is one of the most important steps in determining the final diopter value. In the past, this process involved uncomfortable trial frames and trial lenses, a slow and uncomfortable process for the client, usually involving one to two tests of visual acuity.
At the ZEISS VISION CENTER, we have automated and adapted this step for efficiency and client comfort. When measuring visual acuity, we perform 10 tests for each client, including tests for visual acuity, astigmatism, binocular balance, tests for strabismus, binocular fusion, and near vision tests. Depending on the needs, we have over 100 tests of visual parameters available for each client.
Like all ZEISS devices, we operate this device with a tablet, allowing for changes in tests in a fraction of a second, with a clear distinction between visual impressions.
The Visuphor 500 allows us to simulate real-life situations and determine the best combination for each user in all circumstances. In combination with the ZEISS iProfiler device, Visuphor enables us to demonstrate the performance of the ZEISS revolutionary iScription technology.
Visuconsult 500
All ZEISS devices are part of the ZEISS ecosystem and communicate wirelessly with each other, seamlessly transferring information from one device to another. Speed and efficiency, as well as high reliability, are the features of the system that enables us to access the desired data and analyse the parameters at any time.
Integrated with the ZEISS Vision Needs Analysis for easy identification of the needs, it includes an AR (augmented reality) enabled demonstration of all types of eyeglass lenses, showing the functionality of each lens in real-life situations.
After selecting the appropriate product, and integrating the parameters from all instruments, lens ordering is done automatically, with a direct connection to the ZEISS factory. Additionally, the optical and aesthetic parameters undergo an additional comprehensive control process using factory parameters to ensure that the final product meets the strictest criteria set by the ZEISS Group.
